Fused PNT Analyses based on European Infrastructure - The European Commission is launching a study on the potential use of communication-oriented LEO constellations for the deployment of a complementary PNT service. This approach is normally referred to as Fused PNT. This tender will focus on developing a user terminal prototype and a simulated environment enabling to assess the performance of Fused PNT under a realistic set of propagation conditions and inter-satellite interference. In this procurement, the main goals of the European Commission are: - To develop a software receiver, supporting acquisition and tracking of 3GPP reference signals for Non-terrestrial networks (NTN) - To model multipath channel and intersatellite interference, in order to test the software receiver under the realistic satellite based propagation channel and interferences; - To consolidate and complement the part of the E2E emulator, by adding multipath and intersatellite interference models; - To demonstrate the performance of fused PNT ranging in a representative simulated environment - To validate the acquisition and tracking performance in realistic environment.

Proposal Writing Consultancy-CARE Deutschland is planning to submit a funding proposal under the Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values (CERV) Programme - Equality, Rights and Gender Equality Strand to respond to the needs of people affected by discrimination in the field of education or related fields in Germany under the Priority 1 for Fighting against discrimination and racism, xenophobia and other forms of intolerance, including antigypsyism, anti-Black and anti-Asian racism. The project will set a focus on strengthening equal opportunities in the post-migrant society in Germany. Depending on its final orientation, the initiative may empower affected students to design collaborative projects and peer-to-peer social media messages, support schools and young people in the transition from education to professional life, cooperate with state actors to develop anti-discrimination action plans, or establish anti-discriminatory services for extracurricular contexts such as sports and youth activities. By engaging students, educators, civil society, and institutional stakeholders, the project aims to foster inclusive learning environments and create sustainable structures to prevent and address discrimination. CARE is looking for a consultant to support the project development process and draft the proposal.

Monitoring and analysis services of the German media - The European Parliament launches this procedure aiming to award a framework contract for daily monitoring of written press (national/regional), audio-visual media (radio, TV) and the main online media (internet) in Germany. The purpose is to provide a timely, up-to-date compendium of daily information, in the form of press reviews, about the way in which topics of relevance to the European Parliament and the European Union are reported in the media. The European Parliament’s Directorate- General for Communication is seeking to ensure it has the best possible knowledge of the media coverage across the EU on topics related to the European Union, the European Parliament and the activities of its President and Members. Media analysis will ultimately help the EP to better communicate EU policies to EU citizens and specific target audiences. Call for Tenders: Development of Training Package on disability-inclusive Food Security in humanitarian action-We are looking for a consultant or group of consultants to develop an accessible training package on disability-inclusive Food Security in humanitarian action. Within the Phase 4 – Leave no one behind! project, we aim to develop an accessible training package to be delivered Face to Face or online, consisting of 7–9 modules on inclusive Food Security in humanitarian action. The direct target audience of the training package are practitioners and programmers, as well as trainers and facilitators who will deliver the training package themselves with and without disabilities from the humanitarian field working in the Food Security sector. The indirect target audience participating in both courses will include humanitarian actors with and without disabilities. The training modules aim to sensitise, increase understanding and support first skills development among Humanitarian Actors on the inclusion of persons with disabilities in Food Security programming, e.g. needs assessments, planning and monitoring, as well as accountability to affected population. The bidder should have: Proven strong experience in packaging content for interactive face-to-face training and sensitization modules, as well as Training of Trainer packages for humanitarian audiences (samples of work will be requested upon shortlisting) Proven strong experience in working on disability-inclusive Food Security in humanitarian action Experience working with audiences in an inclusive manner, that is persons with and without disabilities Demonstrated experience in working with accessible online collaboration platforms for training such as e.g. Padlet, Mural, Jamboard, Cryptopad or similar Experience on working on disability, age, gender, protection mainstreaming, and Food Security Knowledge and/or experience in producing accessible digital materials Excellence in English As persons with disabilities were involved in most of the training modules developed, we strongly encourage, also for this piece of work, applications of consultants that are persons with lived experience of disability and/or consultants working in partnership with Organizations of Persons with Disabilities.
