The Agroecology Support Program in Benin (ProEcoLo) is a new program initiated by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) through the Swiss Cooperation Office in Benin to support the country in its agroecological transition. The purpose of this international call for tenders is to identify a qualified service provider to carry out the preparatory phase and phase 1 of ProEcoLo on behalf of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Benin. Event Facility 2026 FPI1/2/3 NDICI - The core business of the European Commission’s Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI) is to put EU foreign policy into action – fast and flexibly – in a policy-driven approach. It acts as first responder to foreign policy needs and opportunities, focusing on conflict prevention and peace as well as on leveraging the EU’s influence in the world. The Service plays a crucial role in translating the European Commission’s political priorities into external action, in line with the EU’s Global Strategy for Foreign and Security Policy. FPI operates through five Regional Teams (plus antennas) in EU Delegations around the world covering the Americas, West and Central Africa, East and Southern Africa, the Middle East, and the Asia and Pacific regions. Additionally, FPI maintains a presence at the EU Delegations in Vienna and Kyiv to cover the Europe and Central Asia region. To support its mandate, FPI intends to organise a series of events throughout 2026. These events will inform the planning of interventions under the Instruments and the FPI managed activities, will ensure visibility and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of FPI actions, and strengthen key working relationships with stakeholders. The objective of this contract is to provide, through individual assignments, appropriate organisation and logistical support, for seminars, trainings, workshops, consultations and similar events needed to support the work of Service for Foreign Policy Instruments in implementing the EU political priorities and commitments globally. Consulting services for the implementation of nutrition and gender- transformative approaches under FANSER - (1) Establishing and facilitating the community-based care group model together with the decentralised structures of the Ministry of Health; (2) Establishing and facilitating the Saving and Internal Lending Communities (SILC, a village-based saving and lending approach) together with the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services; (3) Developing and implementing concepts to enable gender equality with a focus on joint decision making in the rural households related nutrition, agriculture and WASH aspects. For this, the contractor shall work with and through traditional and church leadership structures. In addition, the contractor shall contribute to improving services related to family planning for youth through so-called "youth-friendly corners" which are part of rural health facilities; (4) Developing and implementing capacity development approaches for relevant government staff (mostly at district level) to increase their technical, organisational and leadership skills with the aim of increasing their ability to provide nutrition related services independently.

81317521-Scaling digital agriculture innovations through start-ups (SAIS)-The Scaling Digital Agriculture Innovations through Start-ups (SAIS) programme is a global accelerator and company development initiative implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. Commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), SAIS also receives co-funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the European Union. Launched in 2019, SAIS aims to scale tech and tech-enabled private sector solutions in agriculture, livestock, food, climate, and the circular economy. Through its investment readiness programmes, SAIS provides tailored support to start-ups and companies to enhance their investment readiness, enabling them to attract funding, scale operations, and increase their impact. SAIS currently operates the following programmes: - SAIS Africa: A 12-month investment readiness programme for up to 25 tech and tech-enabled African start-ups, with tracks for francophone countries (PPI), anglophone countries (r-IRP), and livestock-focused start-ups. - SAIS CIRCULAR (Sri Lanka): Supports start-ups and SMEs developing circular economy solutions to reduce food loss and plastic waste in Sri Lanka, including incubation, acceleration, and access to finance. Through SAIS, GIZ aims to scale proven digital innovations that improve income, nutrition, or climate resilience in the agri-food sector. SAIS is currently commissioned until June 2029.

81316366 - Mapping of traceability approaches for critical raw minerals-The purpose of this assignment is a study providing an overview of existing (digital) traceability systems for critical minerals intended to monitor standards relating to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics. The study will also encompass an assessment of the feasibility of enhancing (digital) traceability systems based on internationally discussed approaches and recommendations for technical assistance. This analysis will also consider the benefits/disadvantages for different stakeholders in the process (local population, government, private sector incl. miners and cooperatives, etc.) selected (partner) countries with extractive minerals. The general objectives are to better understand the status quo of digital tracing systems for critical raw minerals and to have a reference document for future planning purposes. External Evaluation of the Geneva Centres for the period 01.11.2025 to 30.05.2026 in Geneva-The external evaluation concerns three Geneva-based Centres of excellence supported by the Swiss Confederation: the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), focused on international security and diplomacy, the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD), focused on mine action, and the Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance (DCAF), which promotes good governance in the security sector. These Centres are independent foundations primarily funded by Switzerland, with additional contributions from other donors. An evaluation is mandated under the current federal framework credit (2024–2027) of CHF 129.7 million. The purpose of the evaluation is to assess the performance of the Centres across six criteria: relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability. It will consider how well each Centre contributes to its field, how aligned it is with Swiss foreign policy, and how effectively it uses resources to achieve its goals. The deliverables for this external evaluation are: - an Inception Report detailing methodology and evaluation questions - a draft Final Report for feedback from stakeholders - a Final Report The evaluation findings will inform the drafting and development of the next federal framework credit for the Geneva Centres, covering the period 2028–2031.
