Global study: seamless carbon accounting for cross-border parcels-This call for tenders concerns the provision of consultancy services to the UPU for the development and con-duct of a study and report tentatively entitled “Global study: seamless carbon accounting for cross-border parcels”. This initiative is a response to growing demand from postal stakeholders – including major e‑commerce providers – for accurate estimates of the end-to-end greenhouse gas emissions associated with sending a single cross-border (international) parcel.

Study on regulatory frameworks most conducive to postal financial and digital diversification-This call for tenders concerns the provision of consultancy services to the UPU for the conduct of a study tentatively entitled “Study on regulatory frameworks most conducive to postal financial and digital diversifica-tion” (hereinafter referred to as the “study”). The aims of the study are three-fold:– enhance understanding of regulatory provisions that enable designated operators to develop efficient payment and financial products and services, including digital financial services; – identify designated operators in developing and least developed countries that have successfully introduced advanced financial and digital financial services; – demonstrate to governments and stakeholders how appropriate financial and digital regulatory frame-works enable the development of efficient and diversified financial services through the postal network.
